3 truths that are beautiful Divorced Christian Has To Understand
1. Jesus Hates Divorce
Oh, you are known by me cringe once you hear that! It is thrown in the face just as if divorce or separation could be the sin that is unpardonable. But let’s be honest: Jesus does hate divorce…and so do you…and so do we.
I found the context interesting as I began to look more deeply into Malachi 2:16. The truth is, the context is of this spouse that is unfaithful the only who hurts his/her spouse profoundly. It is about being cruel to your partner, the one which we have to love and protect significantly more than every other. God hates the actions that frequently lead to divorce as we realize it.
Since our company is throwing around things that Jesus hates, let’s have a look at another passage:
You will find six things the father hates, seven which are detestable to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, arms that shed innocent bloodstream, a heart that devises wicked schemes, foot which can be fast to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and someone who stirs up conflict in the neighborhood (Proverbs 6:16-19).
Ouch! That stings! Let me just say that anybody who is tossing Malachi 2:16 as Christians, need to remember that there is none righteous, not even one (Romans 3:10) at you needs to stop and take a look at Proverbs 6. we. We must understand that Christ passed away for the pride and our lies just as much as he passed away for the divorces. And, it is usually the sins of Proverbs 6 that result in breakup.
Since walking through my very own breakup, We have arrive at the final outcome that Jesus hates divorce or separation due to the enormous discomfort and suffering so it causes their young ones. Its much less about sin and much more about his father’s heart for all of us.
